Grow Your Own {Tomatoes}

This week, we are featuring our tomato plants in preparation for the May Long Weekend. This time of year is when we recommend that your tomato plants can finally go outside and we want to make sure you have success with high quality, productive plants.

The tomatoes that we have available are all indeterminate varieties that we grow to eat and sell. They are reliable and produce exceptional fruit.

Need help deciding what type to grow?

We have 3 cherry varieties- Sakura (red), Orange Zinger (orange), and Midnight Snack (Indigo). They all have excellent flavour and resist splitting.

Granadero is a large Roma variety which is great for freezing and canning. Juliet is a mini Roma variety that is excellent for snacking, salads, roasting, and freezing.

And finally we have Big Beef, exactly how it sounds, it is a sturdy beefsteak tomato that is lovely sliced or cooked. And Brandywine is fun as a large heirloom tomato that is beautiful sliced and cooked.

To inspire your garden adventures we have our tomato plants on SALE this week if you pre-order- BUY 3 GET 1 FREE. Simply add 4 to your cart and the discount is automatically applied. Plants are available for pick-up on Saturday at our Farm Store from 10-3 (5628 Bates Road in Courtenay near Seal Bay Nature Park).
